"Great to deal with and best price around. Not to mention it was a LARGE DRY cord of wood! Thanks"
"Smokeys firewood (Don) is unbelievable!!!! He literally stacks your wood in his truck and his trailer, you easily get over a cord of wood!! And he's one the most reasonable prices around anywhere!!! If you want great seasoned wood and great service he's your guy!!! Just get it in Early spring so it can properly season!! Most wood dealers give you green wood, that's why you need to get it in the spring, leave it uncovered until the fall when the really cold weather comes with rain and snow then cover the top or the whole cord."
"Smokeys (Don) is the best firewood supplier on the south shore. A couple years back when I got my woodstove installed, I started looking all over for firewood. I literally called every firewood supplier on the South Shore, about 30 of them. From my research I learned a few important things about firewood. First, it needs to be well seasoned or you can get chimney fires from creosote buildup. Also, firewood suppliers often short you by not giving you enough when they dump it in your yard. So, needless to say, I did my homework! I bought 2 cords of oak from Smokeys and was impressed. The firewood was seasoned. Don provides helpful information about this on his website but no other firewood supplier does. Smokeys also gave me more than I paid for because when I measured it out he gave me almost an extra half cord. So, if you need firewood, call Smokeys. Quality firewood with a hardworking and professional manner. "
"Best / Cheapest firewood in the area. Disregard Google's Hours of Operation.
This firewood is in a residential neighborhood.
$5 stacks of pine and $9 stacks of oak.
Great guy, not too far out of the way."
